Thoroughly enjoyed Friday night's performance of 'Love Begins at Fifty'. Congratulations to all involved. Fantastic set, and excellent performances by all actors. Great to see some fresh faces, and some familiar ones again! Really enjoyed seeing a good comedy, and the group of five that I attended with laughed right along with me. Our delicious dinner in the club added to the enjoyment of the night.

CONGRATS to the cast and crew of Love Begins at 50. It was a brilliantly funny show, the actors so well casted and true to life. A very enjoyable night. Well done to all involved. Best of luck for the remaining show tomorrow night.

--------------------------

--------------------------
Congratulations to the cast of Deck Chairs, all 3 plays were hilarious.
--------------------------
I have just been to see the last performance of "Are You Being Served", if you didn't get to see it you missed a really funny show. Congratulations to the cast and crew on putting on such an entertaining show.

My husband and I attended the matinee show of Mother and Son and once again we weren't disappointed. Even though we didn't see the original TV show, we thought your stage production of four episodes was fantastic. Janet Boreham was excellent as "Mum "... she is such a good actress and makes every part she plays her own (we especially liked her in On Golden Pond). Everyone who played a part in the production is to be commended as the show was of a very high standard. Looking forward to the next play in the New Year. A happy Christmas to all at Henry Lawson Theatre.
--------------------------
Attended "Mother and Son" Matinee session on Saturday 23rd November and Wow, what a great show. Janet Boreham was a standout along with Anthony Brown.
Especially liked the set and so many props brought back memories. Attention to detail in the set was amazing, right down to the drink bottles used by Arthur and Robert.
Could have done without the extra intervals as it made the show extra long. A curtain falling to change the props would have been more convenient for all but an excellent show.
Thanks to all involved on stage and behind the scenes

Went to The Henry Lawson Theatre at Werrington last night with friends and saw the first stage production of Mother and Son, what a night, 4 plays from the original show ... the acting was superb, a credit to all of the actors who are passionate in their craft.... the laughter was so loud that at times you missed some of the dialogue... the sets were so believable, the old fashion fridge, the doors, and of course the costumes, if you did not know better you would believe you had stepped back in time. A wonderful nights entertainment and compliments to all involved in the numerous jobs that are involved in getting such a production to the standard it was.
--------------------------
My friends and I and my 20 year old son came along to see Mother and Son last Saturday night.
It was brilliant! So many great performers that really understood the characters and were able to bring the audience with them. I loved the first 3 acts (I never liked the 4th even when on TV).
The show hit many “buttons” and was true to the original concept. Again, another great night out.
Thank you to all behind the scenes as well as the actors.
--------------------------
Congratulations to the cast and crew of Mother and son especially Janet and Anthony who channeled Maggie and Arthur Beare. It was very well and faithfully adapted. I was laughing so much.
--------------------------
Well done to the cast and crew of 'Mother & Son' last night, a great performance by all. A special mention to Janet Boreham, who was so very convincing as the forgetful and manipulative mother, she was just hilarious!! So a big and well deserved congratulations to all involved
--------------------------
Went to see Saturday nights performance of Twelve Angry Men with some family and friends and were still talking about it! What a great show! Well done to the director and all the cast and crew. If you haven't been yet this is one you don't want to miss!
--------------------------
My husband and I went to see your production of Twelve Angry Men last Saturday night. We would like to congratulate all concerned on a fantastic performance...it was probably the best we have seen and we have seen and enjoyed many of your shows. The acting was superb, with high drama and a bit of comic relief from Juror number 2. We were totally riveted from the opening scenes and it only got better and better from there.
We are looking forward to seeing Mother and Son and I'm sure it will be another winner from your excellent theatre production team.
Thanks you for a wonderful theatre experience.
--------------------------
My friends & I have been to many performances at your theatre. We have thoroughly enjoyed all but one or two. Yesterday we saw 12 Angry Men. WOW ! The power of the actors was palpable. I found myself so immersed in the story, I nearly jumped up to intervene between the angry people (well, not really – but it was very “real”). The directing was extremely well done. We haven’t had a “bad” night at The Henry Lawson Theatre – but 12 Angry Men was outstanding.
Now on to Mother and Son (tickets already booked). Thanks to everyone for all the hard work that goes into your productions.
--------------------------
Congratulations on your production of 12 Angry Men which I saw this afternoon. I go to many shows both locally and in Sydney and I am glad I finally caught up with your theatre company. I will certainly be coming back!
Your production really worked due to the precise and certain direction, good ensemble acting, excellent set, and clever but unobtrusive use of music to underline moments of tension. Particular mention to Jurors 2 and 3 for consistent high quality acting, juror 10 for his climactic racist speech and juror 8 for his controlled performance. It was a very professional production. I saw another production earlier in the year which used female jurors, but your production was much more convincing. Again, congratulations to all involved.
--------------------------
Went to see steel magnolias last night it was brilliant, they all deserve an academy award great job by the director Janet.
--------------------------
My friends and I went to see Steel Magnolias last night and I just had to write and let you know how much we enjoyed it.
We have been privileged to see many shows at this little theatre and this was a treat. Wonderful performances from all the cast.
Congratulations to the director and again to the cast, well done everyone.
--------------------------
Just to let you know how much we enjoyed the last night of Steel Magnolias. Great show, beautifully acted and very funny. What you people put on in this place is amazing. Also have to say how much we enjoyed the pre-show meal in the club. A terrific evening all round. Thank you.
--------------------------
Last night I attended the Henry Lawson Theatre to see a production of Steel Magnolias. What a performance!!! Brilliant! The 6 actresses gave their all and the applause at the end of the night was long and loud. Congratulations to the director Janet and to all involved behind the scenes....but special congratulations to Neridah, Rachael, Elizabeth, Tara, Jenny & Cathy - who made her acting debut in this play.
Again...WELL DONE!

I have been meaning to contact you since I saw Harp in the South. That was the first play my friends and I saw. My friends and I have seen most plays since and are absolutely in awe of the talent and really love what you do. Your actors are wonderful, the emotions they evoke feel real, what you can do in such a small place is fantastic and amazing. My personal favourite was Beautiful Thing. We have laughed and cried with you. We always eagerly await the next play and hope to be able to see them all no matter what.
So good on you all for a wonderful theatre company,

Recently our group of theatre fans were hugely disappointed in the play ‘Love Letters’ We feel that this might have been suitable for radio but not for stage. We felt so sorry and painfully embarrassed for the two actors, who so bravely battled on. We are regular visitors and all the shows have always entertained us, but not this time.
I’m not given to easily complain but this was just so disappointing for all of us, sorry!
--------------------------
Well done to the cast of Audrey and the Professor today, audience was thoroughly entertained and a great time had by all, congratulations to Wayne Guy on the debut of a very funny play and impersonating a very convincing chicken
--------------------------
Just got home from seeing "The Touch of Silk" at Henry Lawson Theatre and enjoyed it very much. Congrats to Ally Mac Prowse whose direction is superb. Leone Sharp again gives an outstanding costume/set design. Lots of great performances to add to a good Australian piece of theatre.
--------------------------
Beautiful Thing - Lovely night at the The Henry Lawson Theatre. What a wonderful cast and fantastic play directed by Joshua Crew. Good work guys.
--------------------------
Beautiful Thing - A beautiful production, very moving. Congratulations to all.
--------------------------
Great play showing at the Henry Lawson Theatre at the moment. Its called On Golden Pond, we saw it last night, laughter tears and lots for everybody to relate to. Well done Anthony Stirling-Edgar for directing this fantastic production. Its a must see for all generations.
--------------------------
Just home from a beautiful, beautiful play On Golden Pond at Henry Lawson Theatre, directed by Anthony Stirling-Edgar. I laughed and cried, and cry-laughed... please, when you book your tickets, remember to take tissues!! Well done everyone!! I *highly*recommend this!
--------------------------
Cannot give high enough praise to the cast & crew of 'On Golden Pond'. Had the pleasure of seeing it last night at the Henry Lawson Theatre - it was amazing. Funny, poignant and beautiful! Highly recommended!!
--------------------------
Just got home from seeing DRY ROT and all we can say is LOVE IT LOVE IT, thanks for a great show. There was 8 in our party tonight and we all loved it, thanks to ever one from Jenny.
--------------------------
What a night! I had the pleasure of going to the opening night of DRY ROT and was absolutely blown away. From the beginning it was literally a laugh every couple of minutes and then from there it was a constant, second by second, every time you stopped laughing you were off again.
How the actors, and bear in mind they are amateurs, (no, they are professional actors,) could keep a straight face or even remember their lines was plainly astounding. One thing though the volume on the radio broadcast of the race could come up a bit with all the noise created anyone that has a bit of a hearing problem could miss some of it. The set was excellent, the costumes great, the sound and lighting very accurate but the acting was out of this world it was like watching a British comedy... very down to earth serious believable comedy acting, my advice if you are considering going go don’t miss this wonderful experience and the prices are great too! It was one of the best nights entertainment I have had at any theatre!!
--------------------------
Have you considered doing a production of "The Beauty Queen Of Leenane"? Fantastic, clever show and you guys would do it really, really well.
--------------------------
=WOW!!!
We have just arrived home after seeing "The Harp In The South". What a FANTASTIC show! Congratulations to all involved, including the late/great Ruth Park who captured such a colourful part of Australian suburban history! You certainly paid homage to her with such a wonderful production!
BRAVO!
--------------------------
What a wonderful, wonderful night watching "Harp in the South". Everyone but I mean everyone I spoke to was of the same opinion as me, funny, dramatic pleasurable show, fantastic props, wardrobe was really authentic, sound and lighting great and the production was of 1st class standard, great kudos to the theatre......you did yourselves proud.
Everyone had a fantastic night. Thank you.
--------------------------
Just home from seeing Doubt....there is no doubt in my mind this was a fantastic play...enjoyed it so much...thanks again for another great piece of theatre.
--------------------------
If you want to see drama at it's best then go and watch "Doubt". I have seen the film and was not overly impressed but what these actors have come up with is something to see. I know drama is not everyones cup of tea but I know it is a play you will talk about for a long time to come. Well done cast and crew, fantastic night.
--------------------------
Congratulations on the wonderful performance tonight. It was another enjoyable night at the Henry Lawson Theatre for us and as always, highly entertaining. Well done to all involved in the production.
--------------------------
Congratulations to the writer, cast and crew for the performance of BUDGIE SMUGGLERS OF THE MURRUMBIDGEE. My lady friend and I attended on Friday the 20th May 2011, opening night. It was an enjoyable experience and I was fascinated by both the depth of the play (eg: the passing of the flower to each of the actors) and the detailed characterisation of generational people - simply brilliant. It was the first time I had attended that theatre, usually I go to NIDA or the Opera House to watch Opera (when I can afford it)
The atmosphere was interesting. The seating was the best I have sat on during any performance in living memory. The theatre was cosy, comfortable and wonderful.
--------------------------
We've enjoyed the latest show very much. The Prime Minister Wayne Guy was terrific and also his wife Sybil and the Chancellor. We liked the facial expressions of Neridah James as Dora Springer and everyone else was also very very good. The roles were very appropriately selected.
Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
We wonder why other clubs cannot have such theatre venues for their patrons rather than have only those gaming machines. It would be so good to have more such wonderful entertainment out here in the Western Suburbs. We find the ticket prices very reasonable as well.
--------------------------
Hello, I thought your show Once Upon A Time Mate was really terrific. Thanks so much.
--------------------------
I saw The Dog Logs last night and thoroughly enjoyed the show. My attendance last night was one of reluctance, as I didn't think that such a concept that a show based on canine monologues could or would be entertaining. However, I was very happily wrong and have not stopped talking about it. It has been impossible to pick out a favourite part of the show, and I commend the superb casting. Cat Nips was also a pleasant surprise, with much hilarity both during the show and in our recollections in post show discussions.
Wonderful stuff.
