CELEBRATING FIFTY YEARS
This year our popular series of One Act Plays are just a little bit special. Valda Marshall the author of our first play, THE PERFECT CRIME, has never been able to see her play performed. We are please to say Valda will be coming to see her play for the first time at our theatre. You may be interested to know Valda created and wrote the part of Charlene played by Kylie Minogue in Neighbours. It is an honour to welcome Valda to our theatre.
This is followed by HEAVENLY INSPIRATION by Greg Freier, a short play about God revealing himself to a writer who is desperate for new ideas. The exchange between God and the writer makes for a fascinating and humorous play.
In our final play. Imagine you’re a dog in human form. THE DOG LOGS looks at life through the eyes of our canine friends. These dogs’ lives are as complex as our own as they negotiate, guilt, friendship, narcissism, jealousy and even sex!
